The Mount Bruce Havarti is one of our most popular cheeses. made from pasteurized sheep's milk. Light, spreadable and also crumbly, perfect on its own, in salads or with anything peppery. Softer than its aged counterparts, it also makes a delicious dessert cheese when paired with fresh berries. Our Mount Bruce Havarti melts well and is a great option if you are introducing a child to sheep cheese. Spread it on toast with marmite and melt under the grill. Sometimes, whatever the sheep have been eating may influence a batch flavour but the havarti always seems to keep its lemony/pineapply yumminess. Vegetable rennet. Sit in outside in the garden with a glass of Martinborough Sauvignon Blanc some simple salt crackers and Havarti. You'll never want to leave.
